Fundraiser

Fundraiser

This is a request for donations for the Lake Havasu Mineral & Lapidary Group Inc. Building Fund.

The Lake Havasu Mineral & Lapidary Group is a non-profit club that promotes the study of geology, rocks, gems, and minerals, and all that comes from our earth.  The club gives out scholarships to local high school students heading to college in the geology and science fields.  The club holds classes on jewelry making, silversmith, copper bracelet making, safe use of lapidary shop saws, grinders, tumblers and polishers and kid’s classes on a regular basis.

Lake Havasu Mineral & Lapidary Group has been an organization for more than 52 years.  We’ve rented, been in storage over covid, now renting again.  It’s time for our own home. We envision a large enough area to include our lapidary equipment, display areas, classrooms, meeting room, and storage. The building fund for our nonprofit can acquire a permanent home, land or a building that is useable for our membership and outreach for the community. Help us to ensure sharing our knowledge for years to come. We are committed to our members and our community. Please donate, we thank you.

Donations accepted online here or at our Lake Havasu Lapidary Shop, 278 B London Bridge Rd, Lake Havasu mail to P O B 990, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405

Thank you everyone, your generosity so far has been astounding. Thanks to your generous donations, we are well on our way to making a permanent home for LHGMS a reality. Through your continued support we will be able to bring classes, training, school STEM support, and community outreach to a much wider area. This new building will be a beacon to professional rock hounds, amateur rock hounds, silver and copper smiths, and those who are just taking their first step on their journey into the hobby.

Thank you again for your support, spread the word, and let’s make this dream a solid rockin’ reality.
