Interested in Rock Hounding?

If you are interested in rock hounding then our field trips are the place to be. Field trips are usually each week, starting in late Fall and running through early Spring. Most are on Sundays or Mondays and are one day in duration, although we do have some overnight trips. Nearby accommodations are usually available for non-campers. Provisions vary from site to site but normally include a rock hammer, bag, plenty of drinking water, and lunch. Field trips are always fun and usually yield some nice material to work with. Please contact VP Richard Plunkett at stone_sorcerer@att.net.

As members of the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies, all club members agree to abide by theĀ AFMS Code of Ethics.
