Club Members,
The next field trip is this coming Sunday, March 20th (one week away). Al will be leading another
rockhounding trip to crystal hill and to a second location, the geode mountain. This is the same place we went on Monday, March 7th.
The field trip up behind the airport and you will be looking for small crystals at the first location and small to medium geodes at the second.
Meet at Lowe’s, leaving the parking lot at 9:00 am. Come early enough to sign in. 4X4 not required, but High Clearance is a Must, and all wheel drive is recommended! If you need a ride, come by 8:40 am and let Al know you are looking for a ride.
This is a 1/2 day trip. Bring the usual stuff, water/drinks, snacks and lunch if you want, a bucket or back-pack or cloth bag. A hat and a portable radio on channel 3 and of course, some rockhounding tools.
