Al is leading a field trip up behind the airport to what is locally known as Crystal Hill. You will be looking for small crystals and if Al can find a special hill, small geodes.
Meet at Lowe’s, leaving the parking lot at 9:00 am. Come early enough to sign in. 4X4 not required, but High Clearance is a Must!
This is a 1/2 day trip. Bring the usual stuff, water/drinks, snacks and lunch if you want, a bucket or back-pack or cloth bag. A hat and a portable radio on channel 3 and of course, some rockhounding tools.
