DESCRIPTION:Get ready to find Wulfenite!!! \nPaid dig to 2 sites: \n\n$35 red cloud tailings\n$60 south Geronimo tailings\n\nBring CASH only!  IF you need to ride with some one you best make plans before you leave.  \nA discount of $5 per person if 25 or more people show up. –Keep what you find!   \n12 and under are free with paying adult\, and must be supervised at all times by a parent. \n\n\n\n\n\nHIGH clearance vehicles mandatory – we will be driving in sandy washes and bumpy roads. 4wheel drive IS recommend– car pool if you need to!\n \nMeet up point. 6:45 AM I would like to be leaving this area at 7 AM from here we are about an hour and 50 minutes from the mine\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/aaZvnRJ1DLmcqSEEA?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy\n\n\n\n\nThis is a pull out next to a dirt parking lot along the side of the road. We will meet up here to sign the field trip list. And then we can caravan to the mine. If you would like to just meet everybody at the mine that is up to you. But just let somebody from the group know beforehand. There is no cell phone service at the mine. \n\n\n\n\nBring bucket\, rock hammer\, pick\, chisels\, food and water . and a roll of paper towels to keep what you find nicely cushion so you don’t break the crystals. I have gone and tried to take the back way from the north it will not work!! \n\n\n\n \nYou can visit the Red Cloud Mine website here\n\n \n\n \nHere are some highlights…\n \nThey now require: SAFETY GLASSES\, HARDHATS AND CLOSED TOE FOOT WEAR IS MANDATORY FOR ALL COLLECTORS ON ALL RED CLOUDMINE/RC MINES LLC/ PROPERTY. NO EXCEPTIONS! This rule does not\napply to tourists who are taking a surface tour or purchasing specimens at the main complex. When I was there before they did have hardhats that you could use if you don’t have your own. \nWe are going to have a great time.
