WHO WE ARE

  • Increase our appreciation of the beauty and value of the land in which we live.

  • Foster good fellowship among its members.

  • Host an annual Gem and Mineral Show for the community.

  • Increasing knowledge pertaining to minerals, gems, and rocks.

  • Disseminating knowledge of collecting and classification of minerals, fossils and rock through collection and classification.

  • Improving the practical knowledge of cutting, grinding and polishing materials.

Havasu Rocks

  • Provide educational scholarships in the scientific fields.

  • Procure and improve the Society’s property.

Student Scholarships

We offer student scholarships who are interested in pursuing courses in Earth sciences.  Apply at the Career Center at Lake Havasu High School

Membership

Membership

Membership is open to anyone 18 years old or older that is residing full or part-time in Lake Havasu City or surrounding areas.

Children of members who are between the ages of 12 years and 18 can join the Juniors.

Application is available to download, view application:

An application may be obtained at any monthly meeting.

Our monthly meetings will begin and end in May.

We meet on the second Friday of every month

at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church,

 2170 Havasupai Blvd. at 6:30 meetings start at 7:00 pm.
